We do not need more good neighbors. Instead, we need engaged neighbors! By making this change and moving against the tide of our culture of isolation and loneliness, you will see the difference it makes in your life, neighborhood, and community. Knocking on a neighbor’s door, learning their name, and building a relationship can enhance mutual well-being. Join David Burton, Missouri’s Neighbor-in-Chief, creator of Missouri Good Neighbor Week over 20 years ago, and nationally recognized leader in the art and heart of neighboring, for an informative and connecting discussion that will build a block-wide sense of belonging in your community. David brings a wealth of creativity and passion to this topic as a community development specialist with the University of Missouri Extension since 2001, newspaper columnist, and national award winner for his work.
